Greetings Rocket Post,
Again this week I need to start this with
a huge thank you to those of you that stepped up and assisted around the post
this past Friday and the help on Saturday as well. It is truly amazing what we
can accomplish working together. Over the next two days I have another volunteer
coming in to finish up the office and it’ll be ready for primer and paint. I am
truly grateful for our volunteers.
I have a quick reminder about our Sunday
breakfast at the Rocket post. We had originally wanted to do this on the first
Sunday of the month but we are switching this to the second Sunday of the
month. So, March 14th is our next breakfast at the Post and this is
all made to order starting at 8:00 am. Last month it was beyond fantastic and
even I was full when I left.
We have a lot of new shirts at the post.
We have ladies and men’s in all kinds of sizes and colors so please see the
canteen associate and get yours. If you are interested in a personalized Polo
let the canteen associate know as well and one of us will get with you and work
out the details.
Anybody want to volunteer in the kitchen
on Thursday, Friday, or Sunday? Please get with the canteen associate or the
kitchen manager. We have sign-up sheets and we also have training on the fryers,
the grill and new dishwasher. It is super easy and it is a lot of fun.
