Greetings Rocket Post,
Another fantastic week in the books and it
is getting better by the day. I want to give a huge thank you to those of you
that stepped up and helped out Friday with the work at the Post. This made a
difficult task very easy. One of our Aux members has volunteered to take care
of the drywall this week so there again, thank you very much. Hopefully by next
week we will be ready for primer and paint. Teamwork is the key in all that we
do.
This past Friday we had members asking
about Red Shirt Friday. We have been talking about this for weeks and
advertising as well. Help me get the word out about our special offer on
Fridays. Wear a Red shirt that has a military theme and get your second drink
for free. If you do not have one please ask the canteen associate and see if we
have any in your size at the post. Also know that more shirts are being
ordered. You can also order one online by going to www.google.com and typing in
red shirt Friday. This opens a lot of sites where you can get a R.E.D. shirt. I

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to
listen to a live band; we have been talking about having an outdoor event at
the Post and I think we found the entertainment for it. Keep your eyes and ears
open for a live show outside in either April or May. Thank you to Aaron and
Tracy for the referral.
BINGO! Holy smoke, yesterday’s bingo
jackpots were higher than I have seen in a couple years. Awesome turnout! Hope
Thursdays can get close to that as well.
Anybody want to volunteer in the kitchen
on Thursday, Friday, or Sunday? Please get with the canteen associate or the
kitchen manager. We have sign-up sheets and we also have training on the
fryers, the grill and new dishwasher. It is super easy and it is a lot of fun.
