Greetings Rocket Post,
Can you believe it is already February?
They say time fly’s when you’re having fun. Well we are gonna add some more fun
to the Rocket Post.
Since last Thursday was such a great night
we will have karaoke again this Thursday in the canteen. I hope to see you all
again this week.
Friday night we have our Fish Dinner and
karaoke in the hall after dinner. Saturday! That’s right everyone the "Food
Shoot” is back. The Post will be open at noon on Saturday and the Food Shoot
starts at 1:00 PM.
Sunday is going to be an all-day affair at
the Rocket. Kicking off Sunday morning Evelyn is back in the kitchen with her
breakfast made to order until 11:00 am and I assure you that you do not want to
miss this. From 1:00 to 3:00 PM the grill will be on and the burgers and dogs
will be available. Bingo starts at 2:00 PM and after that we will have our
"friendly” Chili cook-off and the Superbowl party. Come cheer for your favorite
team and put your taste buds to the test. If you are bringing Chili and it is
spicy, please advertise that.
Anybody want to volunteer in the kitchen
on Thursday, Friday, or Sunday? Please get with the canteen associate or the
kitchen manager. We have sign-up sheets and we also have training on the
fryers, the grill and new dishwasher. It is super easy and it is a lot of fun.
