Greetings Rocket Post,
Yes I am a day late this week and as you
already know I have excuses. Certainly has been a busy weekend.
Coming up around the Post; we have our
Thursday night Tacos, Chili has been added back to the menu. This Thursday the
Special is those awesome Beef Enchiladas. Friday we have our Steak or Pork Chop
dinner.
I was asked last Friday when we were
having the 50/50 again. I will ask the board this Wednesday if we can continue
on with the 50/50 and if they agree to it we will have a 50/50 Friday night
during dinner with the winner being pulled at 7:00 PM.
Saturday
morning we will be doing a Post cleanup which will focus on the kitchen and bar
area but we will also check the entire property for anything else that needs
attention. Last time we had amazing support and knocked it out by noon. Hope to
see you this Saturday. Bring work gloves please.
Sunday we will have the Burgers, Dogs,
French Fries and Bingo. Also this Sunday we have the Conference Championship
games on the television both inside and out. First game is at 3:05 PM
The Auxiliary is bringing back the food
shoot Saturday February 6th. You have been asking and finally we get
one step closer to normal business around the Rocket post. I will confirm times
and get you the information as soon as I can.
If you are new to the Rocket post please
check with the canteen associate and ensure your name and information is
correct on the roster. It only takes a few minutes and this way we know how to
contact you if needed. If you have moved or changed phone numbers also please update
you information on the roster.
Anybody want to volunteer in the kitchen on
Thursday, Friday, or Sunday? Please get with the canteen associate or the
kitchen manager. We have sign-up sheets and we also have training on the
fryers, the grill and new dishwasher. It is super easy and it is a lot of fun.
