Greetings Rocket Post,
Wow, what a fantastic week we had last
week. Everything is starting to look better in the New Year. I mentioned last
week we would try to bring back entertainment on Thursday nights so this week
we have Barefoot Brenda along with our Taco night. Also heard we had some
requests for the chili on Thursdays and that too will be back this week.
Not sure how many college Football fans we
have in the Post but just in case you are and did not know The Ohio State
Buckeyes and the Alabama Crimson Tide are playing Monday night for the National
Championship. Game starts at 8:00 PM and if you would like to bring something
to share that would be great although not required. Hope to see you all there
Monday night O-H..
Auxiliary members… You have your monthly
meeting this Wednesday at 7:00 PM The Auxiliary President has asked that you
come around 6:00 PM for a little socializing in the canteen. There are some new
members so a meet and greet would be great prior to the meeting.
BINGO! Bingo players please notice and
share that Thursday bingo will also start at 2:00 PM instead of 1:00 PM. This
is so some of our volunteers and players can make it on Thursdays. Now both
Thursday and Sunday will start at the same time. Again, please share with your
friends.
Check out the calendar, this month we have
5 Fridays! It has been a while since we have had a Commanders choice dinner.
January 29, 2021 we will have Spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread and a
salad.
The Auxiliary is looking at bringing back
the food shoot in February on a couple Saturdays so that will be a plus.
Until further notice; the Rocket post will
open at 3:00 PM on Saturdays. We will revisit this topic in our meeting this
month.
